Trio pick up further caps

-

ALL three of Yeovil Town’s players away on international duty have added to their cap-tally for their respective countries.

Middlesbrough loanee Enes Mahmutovic was an unused substitute in Luxembourg’s 2-0 UEFA Nations League defeat to Belarus, but then played a full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw with Moldova to claim his tenth cap.

Meanwhile, Sessi D’Almeida’s Benin suffered a disappointing 3-1 defeat to Gambia in qualifying for the 2019 AFCON finals.

The 23-year-old picked up his fifth cap for the Squirrels but will now head back to Somerset after their one qualifying match.

Completing the international action, Rhys Browne claimed his tenth cap for Antigua & Barbuda in their CONCACAF qualifier against Martinique. However, he was unable to help the Benna Boys avoid a 4-2 defeat.

All three players now return to Huish Park ahead of Saturday’s trip to Macclesfield in Sky Bet League Two.
