Passengers’ fury at disruption

Western Daily Press - - Uk & World News -

RYANAIR passengers have vented their frustrations at the budget airline as regulators took enforcement action over its refusal to compensate passengers.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said that Ryanair had refused to compensate customers for flight disruption caused by staff taking strike action.

Ryanair claimed the industrial action falls under “extraordinary circumstances”, but the CAA disagreed and said compensation should be granted under EU law.
