Carney can’t dictate to us about money

-

HOW can Mark Carney dictate to us over money when he holds a £100,000 party for his bank employers. It makes a nonsense of what he preaches.

Where does the Bank of England get all its money from, as it seems to have plenty to shell out on what it wants, including generous leaving gifts to its former governor?

I wonder what Carney will get when he leaves. He certainly doesn’t deserve a knighthood.

At this time every year, we are told rail fares are going up, with promises that the extra money will be used to improve the trains, but it never really happens. It is time improvements to the whole rail system were seen to be done first – only then price rises might be justified.

Over the summer, with rail services in ‘meltdown’ and other ongoing problems for commuters, Transport Secretary, Chris Grayling, showed no leadership and needs to be replaced with someone with more guts.

On another subject, why is it that travellers who park illegally on council and agricultural land are not fined for leaving their huge amounts of rubbish when they are moved on?
