Body found in docks identified
THE identity of a man whose body was pulled from Bridgwater Docks last Monday has been confirmed.
An inquest has been opened into the death of a 69-year-old man, Phillip Morris.
The preliminary cause of death recorded by the post-mortem examination was drowning.
Coroner Tony Williams said in a statement: “I can confirm that on April 30, I opened an inquest into the death of Philip Morris of Maddocks Court, Bridgwater, who was 69 years old when he was confirmed dead on April 26, at Bridgwater Docks.”
