Overseas aid should be stopped for now

-

THIS newspaper reported that Boris Johnson insisted that the public will understand cuts to overseas aid.

Well, I certainly do, as will I expect a large number of the population who are sick and tired of seeing a total of around £13 billion every year given away to many countries, including China and India, who certainly do not need it.

With the tightening of the regulations, hopefully many of the stupid vanity projects have now disappeared and we are not paying for palaces and private planes for despots any more, or searching around finding somewhere to send this budgeted money which has to be spent. With the exception of essential humanitarian aid, I would think a large majority would like to see overseas aid stopped completely until the economy recovers.
