Jane Horrocks stars with Famalam’s Samson Kayo, pictured below, in this paramedic buddy comedy that hits the ground running.

Kayo plays tough-acting loner and South London paramedic Maleek, with all the chat and nothing to back it up. After accidentally electrocuting his partner with a defibrillator, he is paired with Wendy (Horrocks).

“Ey up!” she squeaks (giving off nostalgic vibes of her Ab Fab character Bubble). She’s a jolly divorcee from up north with a pudding bowl haircut.

It’s a partnership that looks dead on arrival as Wendy offers him a homemade cake, but we can all guess where it’s heading.
