A statement from the club said: “Bath City FC would like to thank Worthing, Nailsea & Tickenham, Wellington Ladies, the Vanarama National League and the Somerset FA for their understanding at this difficult time. New dates for these fixtures will be announced in due course. Tickets purchased for the home games at Twerton Park will be valid for the rearranged fixtures.

“The club thanks everyone for their messages of support for Alex and he remains our priority. We continue to send our unconditional love, strength and support to Alex and his family.”

Fletcher, 23, was injured crashing into advertising hoardings at the side of the Twerton Park pitch.
