Protesters should go to China instead

IF the ‘Just Stop Oil’ protesters are really in earnest, why don’t they go to China, India and Russia and protest there? It is easier to push against an open door, as we are at least trying to do something here.

However, two points come to mind. Firstly, as the country is in so much debt, even if we don’t use our natural reserves we could sell them. Not all countries are obeying the climate improvement laws. It is like sitting in a cupboard full of food and starving ourselves on principle.

Secondly, oil protesters can’t wear any clothes made of oil derivatives. Vegans can’t wear clothes made of animals and a group who think wool taken off a sheep is to be forbidden as well. Are we to go round naked? Not if we are cold, I am not...
