That’s hardly a gesture of goodwill

ACCORDING to Russia’s Putincontrolled state media, the withdrawal of its forces from

Kherson is a “gesture of goodwill” to the people of Ukraine.

To underline the sincerity of this gesture, Russian forces have left behind booby traps, deliberately sabotaged and destroyed vital infrastructure and blown-up bridges!

Putin’s propaganda machine is obviously modelled on that of Hitler’s Reich Minister of Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels.

Little wonder that Ukraine’s President Zelensky has ruled out negotiating with Putin, whose “Special Military Operation” was just the first step in an attempt to wipe Ukraine off the map.

The sooner the Russian people wake up to the fact that the lives of an estimated 100,000 of their fathers, sons and brothers have been ruthlessly thrown away as cannon fodder to feed Putin’s megalomaniacal ego, the sooner his doomed attempt to resurrect the former Soviet empire will be brought to an end.
