Pedestrian killed: one man arrested

POLICE arrested a man after a pedestrian was killed in a crash in Wiltshire.

Police were called after a van collided with a pedestrian on the A345 near Woodhenge at about 12.20am yesterday.

The man, who was in his 30s, died at the scene. A man in his

40s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving whilst disqualified and has since been bailed.

Officers have appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage.
