Teenager admits manslaughter
A WELSH teenager has admitted killing a man from Dorset earlier this year.
Andrew Nicholas, 43, from Poole, died after an assault in Monmouth on Sunday, June 26.
Police were called to the town centre at 1.15am, where Mr Nicholas was found unconscious and unresponsive.
He was taken to hospital but died a few days later, on Thursday, June 30.
Morgan Wainewright, 19, of Mid Summer Way, Monmouth, pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Mr Nicholas on Tuesday at Cardiff Crown Court.
Sentencing was adjourned until December 22 by the Recorder of Cardiff, Judge Tracey LloydClarke.
