‘My sisters and my friends all save along with me!’

-

I started saving money with Park 18 years ago and I’ve never looked back.

I’d just had twins – I now have eight children – and knew I’d need to find a different way of managing Christmas. I don’t like getting into debt, so Park has lifted an enormous weight from my shoulders.

I can put aside a bit of money each week. I’ve set it up so it comes out of my bank account as a standing order, so I don’t miss it at all. Then towards the end of each year I know I have nothing to worry about: I’ve paid for my Christmas. I’ve got loads of other people using Park now too.

It’s so easy to worry about Christmas, wondering whether we’ve got enough for people. But I’ll have planned ahead; thanks to Park I’ll have my presents bought, and the food, the chocolates and the booze all sorted.

I’ll even have an extra present to pop under the tree in case someone comes round unexpectedly.

I’ve got my first granddaughter to buy for this year too. Having brought up mostly boys, I’m really looking forward to being able to buy pretty things and girly bits.

There’s no stress in my Christmas, so I can really enjoy the fun parts. Becky Clark, based in the South West, uses Park Christmas Savings to buy gifts for her large family
