This was never expected to be more than a comedy spin-off to the Paralympic Games coverage in 2012, and yet here we are as it returns with a stuffed award cabinet and a 26th series.

Its success, apart from obviously being a ‘spit-your-tea-out’ funny take on the week’s news, is down to the fact that Adam Hills, Alex Brooker (pictured) and Josh Widdicombe are three thoroughly likeable chaps and none of them seem to care what they say and to whom.

The first guests of the new series are Peter Crouch, AJ Odudu and Rose Ayling-Ellis, who will help the trio examine the biggest stories of the last few days.
