Edwards is Hatters boss
LUTON have appointed former Watford and Forest Green Rovers boss Rob Edwards as their new manager.
Edwards, 39, succeeds Nathan Jones, who left Kenilworth Road for Premier League Southampton last week. He has agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract.
The appointment comes two months after Edwards was sacked by Luton’s Sky Bet Championship rivals Watford.
After guiding Forest Green to the League Two title last season, he took charge at Vicarage Road for just ten games.
Luton are tenth in the table, just three points behind fourthplaced Watford.
Edwards told the official Luton website: “I’m absolutely delighted to be here. It’s a really exciting opportunity to manage this great football club and I can’t wait to get started.”
