Man, 20, arrested over alleged rape

AN arrest has been made in connection with the alleged rape of a woman in Dudbridge Road, Stroud, on Friday July 22.

A 20-year-old man from Stroud was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of rape. He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

A 41-year-old man from Stroud, who had previously been arrested on suspicion of rape in connection with this incident, has been informed that he will face no further police action.
