Police: Murders of 2 boys aged 16 ‘linked’

THE fatal stabbings of two 16-year-old boys just a mile apart in south-east London are linked, police have said. Kearne Solanke was found with stab wounds in Titmuss Avenue, Thamesmead, and Charlie Bartolo was discovered in Sewell Road, Abbey Wood, on Saturday afternoon. As neighbours mourned their murders, police revealed yesterday afternoon they are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a dark-coloured SUV-type vehicle in the area.
