Differing stances on climate change

IN his letter of November 24, Professor Webb informs us that there are many thousands of dedicated and expert climate scientists across the world.

Surely it does not need that many scientists to examine the physical processes that govern how the climate works, especially as we were informed over a decade ago that “the science is settled”!

Why is the professor so afraid of the scientific work cited by the Global Warming Policy Foundation? This independent foundation has an academic advisory council of over 30 eminent scientific and engineering advisers, of whom nearly all are professors of relevant subjects.
