Three charged with disposal of evidence after fatal stabbing
THREE people have been charged with helping dispose of evidence relating to the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Charley Bates, pictured right.
Two 19-year-old men and a woman, 20, appeared at Bath Magistrates’ Court yesterday accused of helping murder suspect Joshua Delbono, 18, after the alleged attack in Radstock on July 31.
Lauren Ephgrave, of Hampshire Place, Melksham, stood in the dock alongside Jack Seal, of Clink Road, Frome, and Lawrence Day, of Manston Road, Exeter.
Delbono, previously of Slipps Close, Frome, was arrested at the start of August and is due to stand trial in January.
Ephgrave, Seal and Day will appear alongside him at Bristol Crown Court for a case management hearing on Monday, December 5.
Until then, they have been granted unconditional bail.
Delbono remains in custody.
