Query over true cost of leaving Europe

I ALWAYS read the letters with a great deal of interest, but have to admit to being stumped by the letter from Alan Debenham on November 28.

I am quite adept at negotiating my way through the vast Office for National Statistics website from the days when I frequently used it for facts concerning the Campaign for an English Parliament, and I endlessly used it in the years after this country voted to leave the EU and was stopped from doing so by the determined Remainers’ tactics to deny the democratic will of the people, aided and abetted by the

EU, and costing this country untold billions.

I spent much time trying to find any reference to our country leaving the EU costing this country £173 million each and every week. Perhaps Mr Debenham can put my mind at rest and supply the full link, and I thank him in advance.
