However, it’s after Jean ignores Stacey’s orders and takes Arthur to the tube station to tell him the truth about Kush’s death that relations between mother and daughter break down.

Elsewhere, Kat is nervous about the package, but perhaps she should be keeping a closer eye on Tommy, and she’s shocked when Isaac turns up to talk to her about the bullying her son has endured. And Jada makes the most of Sharon being away by throwing a party, but the turnout isn’t what she was expecting.

After Sarah tells him she’s filed for divorce, Adam tricks Lydia into meeting him at a shopping centre, hoping he can record their chat. Unfortunat­ely, she sees through his scheme and lays into him about how he treated her in the past. Adam feels a pang of guilt, but when he then suggests she comes clean to Sarah, Lydia sees red and shoves him over the balcony railings.

Elsewhere, the pressure is building on Gary as he discovers that, thanks to Maria’s campaign, the new county training ground is to be built on the same spot where Rick’s body is located. Meanwhile, the private investigat­or tells Laura that he’s pretty sure Rick is dead – and that Gary is the prime suspect.

EMMErdaLE

Rhona and Marlon are overjoyed when they both propose at the same time. Sadly, they barely have time to celebrate as Marlon rushes back to Smithy to pick up the ring, only to then collapse after suffering a stroke. April is distraught when she finds him, but manages to call an ambulance, and Rhona also struggles to hide her distress.

The news about Marlon brings the Dingles together and Lydia encourages Chas and Charity to call off their feud. Jai is also keen to be there for Laurel, but she’s frustrated that he thinks he can repair their relationsh­ip. However, she’s even more shocked when Arthur tries to work out why they split up.

HOLLYOaks

Olivia manages to get herself appointed as chaperone on the school camping trip instead of Nancy, but that may start to seem like less of a plum job after designated driver John Paul finds a bottle of vodka in his jacket pocket. He later loses control of the vehicle and its up to Olivia to take charge and round up the kids. However, it’s Mason who realises the Freya is still in the van, trapped under the luggage.

Honour suggests that Mercedes considers a specialist school for Bobby, but when he discovers his mum has been looking into it, it leads to some harsh words. Meanwhile, Zoe suffers an injury at the charity bootcamp and Zain invites Shaq to a singles event.

POBOL Y CWM

Rhys is stunned when Gwen’s sister contacts him. Meanwhile, the net closes in on Wilko as more of Cwmderi’s residents find out about his secret filming.

Lois is determined to find out who betrayed her by contacting Gwen’s family. In the meantime, Dani’s friends and family warn her to stay away from Wilko. Gaynor must face the consequenc­es of her interferen­ce in Gwen’s life as the situation creates a rift in her own family. A rift also appears between Anita and Griffiths as Anita feels used.
