EASTENDERS

Sam lets herself into the Branning house to give Amy a present, hoping it will earn her an invite to the teen’s belated birthday dinner, so she can spend time with Ricky. However, she isn’t prepared for what she finds there.

She shares her discovery with Jack, who is quick to blame Denzel for everything that’s been going on. The worried dad later takes his anger out on Howie and, when Denise steps in, Jack informs her that Amy is his daughter, not hers. Does he risk losing both of them?

Alfie tries to keep the boys amused by getting them to guess the combinatio­n to Phil’s safe – and they successful­ly crack it. However, it starts to seem less like harmless fun when his cab is later hijacked by an armed robber.

CORONATION STREET

Griff organises a meeting at the community centre which, on paper at least, appears to be about the environmen­t. However, he soon reveals his racist colours, prompting Roy to make him look a fool by pulling apart Griff’s argument. Roy, Maria, Gary and Brian then decide that the venue would be the perfect place for a drop-in centre for refugees, something that will go down like a lead balloon with Griff, who seems likely to bounce back quickly thanks to Max’s video of the event.

Nick and Leanne try to raise the finances needed to buy Debbie out of the Bistro and an unexpected twist in Yasmeen and Stu’s relationsh­ip means that Eliza can move in with them. And Dee-dee offers Alya a job, Bernie is kidnapped while trying to expose Faith and Hope launches a money-making scheme.

EMMERDALE

A handful of villagers gather to say their goodbyes to Al, but Chas isn’t among them as she’s attending Liv’s send-off. However, she struggles to deal with her grief and guilt, especially when she hears about the low turnout. After later secretly reading Al’s order of service, her anger and despair come flooding out, leaving Paddy concerned about what’s really behind his wife’s behaviour.

Elsewhere, Amelia is doubting her abilities to care for Esther, so Lydia tries to give her a break by getting Samson to look after his daughter... but he thinks a better option would be putting the baby up for adoption.

HOLLYOAKS

Warren may have embroiled Grace in his latest criminal scheme, but he’s not ready to be honest with her about his liver disease. However, after their plan goes wrong, leaving someone close to death, Norma decides it’s time to deal with her son’s health problems once and for all by finding him a donor.

Imran tries to prove he’s conquering his eating disorder, but Yazz has her doubts and comes up with a plan to monitor his progress. And Nancy and Brooke fear that Zara has added a ‘special’ ingredient to Jack’s birthday cake pops, but her recipe gives Cindy a business idea. And Vicky and Demarcus set a trap for the anonymous texter – and it’s Mason who gets caught in it.

POBOL Y CWM

Gwern leaves Cwmderi behind Dani’s back, while Arwen has had enough of her mother’s empty promises. Will Gwern succeed in convincing Garry to return to Cwmderi?

Meanwhile, Kelly delves deeper into Howard’s dark background and Gwyneth is determined to take revenge on Garry for letting her rot in prison. Mark has an accident on his skateboard, but will the blame land on Siôn?
