“Dwi bob amser yn mwynhau’r deuawdau digri, felly dwi’n edrych ymlaen at weld y gystadleuaeth yna” meddai Jessica. “ro’n i wastad yn cystadlu yn y gystadleuaeth yna pan o’n i’n iau – gyda’m brawd a’m chwaer. Gyda phopeth sydd wedi digwydd yn y newyddion y flwyddyn hon, pwy a wyr beth fydd i ddisgwyl!”

Mae Jessica, sy’n gantores opera llawrydd ac athrawes canu newydd ennill gwobr Canwr Ifanc Cymru, a bydd hi’n cynrychioli Cymru yng nghystadleuaeth Canwr y Byd y flwyddyn nesaf. Mae hi’n teimlo’n ddyledus i’r mudiad am sbarduno’i diddordeb mewn perfformio a siapio’i gyrfa: “roedd bod yn rhan o Glwb Ffermwyr Ifanc Clunderwen yn allweddol i’m magwraeth i; ges i gyfleoedd anhygoel. O’dd ddim lot yn mynd ymlaen yng nghefn gwlad, a dyma oedd clwb cymdeithasu, cystadlu, ychydig bach o bopeth.

“roedd yn ffordd i mi fagu hyder i berfformio. Canu yn yr Eisteddfod oedd yr uchafbwynt i mi – yn amlwg canu clasurol, ond ro’n i’n gwneud dipyn o bopeth – bach o nonsens hefyd a joio.

Felly eisteddwch yn ôl ac ymlaciwch i wylio’r wledd gan sêr y dyfodol.
