EMMERDALE

Things are looking brighter for Matty and Amy, who are excited about their upcoming wedding, blissfully unaware that Amy’s mum Kerry doesn’t have the money to pay for it.

Kerry has been acting suspiciously ever since she returned to the village, as she was seen stashing away cash and jewellery that she’d stolen during her time on a cruise ship.

After a second opinion on the diamond necklace she was planning to sell fails to yield the money she needs, Kerry is forced to come clean on the morning of the big day, leaving the couple devastated that it could all be off.

Then, after taking a mysterious phone call, Leyla announces the wedding is back on.

Elsewhere, Belle worries about being on her own when Tom goes on a work trip, but it probably wouldn’t reassure her to know that, while he’s away, her husband is still monitoring her through the puppy cam.

EASTENDERS

Following a difficult call with his estranged son and a vicious showdown with Eddie, George decides to battle his demons at the underground boxing club.

Phil begs him not to fight but George refuses to listen – and ends up being knocked out. Will Cindy prove any more effective at getting through to him when she discovers what her ex has been up to?

She’s also in need of support when the Beales mark the 10th anniversary of Lucy’s death, making her realise just how much of her daughter’s life she missed, and it’s George she turns to for comfort.

Patrick returns home and is put out that Pastor Clayton seems to be better informed about what’s going on with the Fox-brannings than he is. However, Yolande later sees the sinister side of the pastor when he sexually assaults her.

Jay is shocked to learn that Nadine is pregnant and Whitney ignores Lauren’s advice to take Britney back to Milton Keynes, and instead tries to enrol her at Walford High.

CORONATION STREET

Dee-dee’s involvement in Roy’s case brings her some nasty, unwanted emails, to Joel’s horror. Her efforts to keep the beloved café owner out of prison fail too, when he’s denied bail.

Bobby, meanwhile, informs DS Swain he saw someone running from Lauren’s flat, and his description of the intruder inadvertently puts Daniel in the frame.

The teacher wonders if Nicky and her friend Deana may have information about the missing girl, but Max spots him with the sex workers and immediately suspects he is hiding something.

When Adam decides to spend an afternoon in a rather unprofessional clinch with a potential new client, Alya is forced to take charge of a meeting and impresses so much, she’s headhunted.

Elsewhere, Sarah is horrified by the thought of Maria’s hidden camera, and hopes Gary can delete any incriminating evidence of her making a pass at him before his wife sees it.

POBOL Y CWM

DJ is stunned when he visits Sioned at the hospital. Cheryl encourages Gaynor to contact Tom after he left her his business card.

Eileen is arrested for shooting Howard on the night he tried to rescue the hunting dogs. Diane and Anita quarrel after Kelly tries to claim money from Jason.

Griffiths makes a big decision about the future of Tomos and Ellis. Eileen and Kelly are formally questioned about events on the night of the shooting.
