Britain’s Got Talent Monday, ITV1, 8pm

The auditions are over, which means that now it’s time for the live shows to get under way.

Judges Bruno Tonioli, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon dished out a record number of golden buzzers during the early stages, which means the standard for this semi- nal should be high.

But now that the public can also have their say, will we get any big surprises as we discover who has made it through to the

Monday, BBC2, 6.30pm

He may have rst found fame as a newsreader and journalist, but over the last few years, Clive Myrie, left, has been proving to be one of the BBC’S most versatile presenters.

First, he took over from John Humphrys as the host of the iconic quiz show Mastermind in 2021, and then last year, he moved into celebrity travelogue­s with Clive Myrie’s Italian Road

Trip. That proved so popular, the Beeb is now sending him out on his travels again, this time for a Caribbean Adventure.

Both of Clive’s parents arrived in the UK from Jamaica in the early 1960s, but he’s only visited a handful of times. So, the country is his rst port of call in tonight’s opening episode as he sets out to follow in his mum and dad’s footsteps.

He meets up with his sister, Judith, who recently moved to Jamaica from the UK, and together they explore a high-altitude co ee farm.

Clive will also be heading out on some solo adventures, as he learns the secrets of making authentic Jamaican jerk pork and meets up with the descendant­s of a rebel community that made their home in the mountains.

The Repair Shop Wednesday, BBC1, 8pm

In the latest visit to the workshop, upholstere­r Sonnaz prepares to work her magic on a leather armchair that Leigh and his partner Greg bought when they set up home together in 1986.

Tragically, Greg died three years later, and the armchair remains a poignant reminder of their relationsh­ip – but it will need a lot of TLC to restore it to its 1980s glory.

Meanwhile, Sian from Northampto­n has a much-loved bangle which was badly damaged when it fell under the wheels of a taxi on a night out, and Jon from Swansea brings in the broken remains of a model carousel which his father built from scratch.

The Gathering

Wednesday, Channel 4, 9pm

After a slightly slow start this drama has been picking up pace – and tonight it comes to a gripping conclusion.

Kelly (Eva Morgan) is rushed to hospital in a critical condition, but will her attacker be brought to justice?

But rst, Sophie Willan, Steve Pemberton, John Robins, Joanne Mcnally, and Nick Mohammed face their last-ever challenges, which feature keyboardpl­aying, a surprise in a eld, refusing a biscuit, a struggle with an anagram and a magical prediction.

As ever, Little Alex Horne is on hand to record everything that happens – and help his boss decide who deserves the trophy.
