‘Local’ man found dead on Wales beach

A POLICE investigation was launched after the body of a man was discovered at Llanelli beach yesterday.

Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police were called to the scene at 9.46am.

A spokeswoman for the force said: “We are in attendance at an incident on Llanelli beach after we received reports that a body of a male person had been found at the beach.”

The spokeswoman added that the man was believed to be local to the Llanelli area.
