‘Despicable’ vandals destroy Poppies

“DESPICABLE” vandals have destroyed thousands of pounds worth of Remembrance Poppies “in a pure act of vandalism”.

North Wales Police uncovered the “malicious” incident at a storage facility in Caernarfon, Gwynedd, on Wednesday morning.

Nothing was stolen from the building on Skinner Street, but thousands of pounds worth of Poppies were destroyed and had to be disposed of as a result.

Police said the incident happened some time in the past week.
