This was the case for the everpopular A La Carte menu, recently updated to reflect the best-quality ingredients and products on the market and in line with an ethos of using Welsh produce where possible.
Menu highlights include herbcrushed Brecon rack of lamb with Pant Ysgawn goats’ cheese and gratin potato; and 24-hour slow-cooked, honey-glazed pork belly from the Usk Valley.
The a la carte menu also uses some of the freshest local fish, including Gower Peninsula mussels cooked in Gwynt–Y-Ddraig cider, and Severn & Wye smoked eel.
After a successful two years of service Laguna Kitchen’s awardwinning chefs have recently reinvented the Chef’s Table Menu to create even more mouth-watering gourmet delights for large dinner parties.
The six-course menu is served with four glasses of hand-picked wine to complement each dish perfectly. This menu serves a minimum of four people.
Diners can look forward to aromatic roast duck salad, open fillet of beef Wellington with confit shallots, wild mushrooms, fondant potatoes and Rioja jus; and LKB-baked Alaska with Madagascan vanilla ice-cream and champagne berry compote.

It’s not all about the evening, though, as Laguna Bar is on hand with its classic brunch menu served in the relaxed atmosphere of the bar area every Sunday.
With a vast range of both healthy and hearty brunch options available, there is a dish for everyone, including: eggs Benedict or the popular avocado on sour dough toast with poached eggs and tomato salsa.
Even if it’s not food you’re after, Laguna Bar offers more than just your mediocre bar chain, with an extensive cocktail menu that mixes classics, like Mojito, Mai Tai and the Old Fashioned, with something a little more daring, such as the Sweet Chilli Collins or Hazelnut Alexander.
