8. Real Ale Wobble

The Real Ale Wobble caters to different abilities, with courses for both serious bikers and enthusiastic amateurs. The non-competitive event marks the start of the 10-day Mid Wales Beer Festival. Routes are marshalled, with two checkpoints along the way and one at the finish, where beer tokens can be exchanged for locally brewed real ale (or a soft drink if you prefer). In 2016 it takes place on November 19 and 20.
