ONE of the UK’s most popular upand-coming singers has announced a tour and there’ll be a show in Wales.
Dua Lipa has revealed she will be bringing her tour to Cardiff in 2018.
The London-born pop star will appear at the Motorpoint Arena on Wednesday, April 18. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, September 29 and prices start from £25 from Ticketmaster.
Dua released her self-titled debut album including smash hit singles Hotter Than Hell, Be The One and Blow Your Mind (Mwah) alongside a host of new material and stand-out collaborations with Miguel and Chris Martin.
The 22-year-old’s single, New Rules, hit number one on the UK charts, making Dua the first female solo artist to reach the top spot since Adele’s Hello in 2015.
Dua recently supported Coldplay as part of their South America tour and is now the support act for Bruno Mars on his 24K Magic World Tour.
And the star, who won Best New Artist at the NME awards, also wowed the crowds at this year’s Glastonbury festival and is currently touring the US, with a number of venues being upgraded due to demand.
The Lost In Your Light singer will be performing 20 shows spanning nine European countries in October and November before she heads back out to the US.
Then she’ll be back in the UK to perform in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and London.
