Sales team boost for Lovell
LOVELL Homes has boosted its sales team as demand rises for homes at its high-profile West Cardiff housing development The Mill in Canton.
With the excitement surrounding this collection of homes generating strong sales, the new-look team is headed by Tracy Edrop, who has been promoted from sales executive to field sales manager.
Alyson Rees, senior sales executive, has joined Lovell from Savills, while sales executive Elaine Greaves has joined from Persimmon Homes.
Other team members are sales executive Lorraine Battenbough, who has worked with Lovell in south Wales and the south west for more than 26 years, and new trainee sales executive Linzi Richards.
Lovell regional sales director Julie Bowen said: “As sales continue to grow at The Mill, Canton, we’re thrilled to have our expanded sales force, and I’m delighted to welcome the new members to my team. They’re all very excited to be working at this superb development of high-specification homes in a great location, so close to the city centre.
“With a number of homes available to move into for Christmas, this is a great time to come and talk to the team and find out how you could start 2018 living in one of these amazing properties.
“Customers can rest assured that our team possesses a wealth of experience and expert knowledge and are well placed to advise and guide purchasers, including by providing information on home buying options such as the Help to Buy – Wales scheme. We want to make buying a home as enjoyable and stress-free as possible for all our customers and will support and assist them through every stage of the process.”
Trainee sales executive Linzi Richards has changed careers to join the new sales team, having previously been a member of Lovell’s commercial team.
She says: “It was a big decision to make, changing careers, but I have been doing the job a few weeks now and I love it! It was definitely the right decision to make.
“The role is so varied, no two days are ever the same and I really enjoy getting to meet different people every day. Lovell is looking to extend its trainee programme and I would definitely recommend it based on my own experience, it is well worth applying.”
The 800 homes under construction at The Mill in Canton, are bringing new life to the former Arjo Wiggins paper mill site.
They include 358 homes for open market sale by Lovell and 442 homes for rent – which will be managed by Cadwyn Housing Association - for the Tirion Group.
The scheme is going ahead with the support of the Welsh Government and financial backing from the Principality Building Society, and is being developed by the Tirion Group in partnership with Lovell.
