Festive fun for little ones everywhere

Bert & Cherry’s Christmas Plum at St David’s Hall, Cardiff

GIVE the kids the gift of music this Christmas with Bert & Cherry’s Christmas Plum Pudding at St David’s Hall.

This fabulously festive show features magic mucal interludes and loveable characters, and promises presents and mischief galore.

The dynamic duo is reunited for the first time since Bert’s Magical Musical Farmyard last July to spread seasonal cheer.

This interactive live production not only encourages under 5s to take a keen interest in music, but it also re-introduces adults to the way they look at Christmas.

Bert is in festive mood – the Christmas tree is decorated with baubles and tinsel, and he’s wrapped up everything (yes, everything!) for the big day, while Cherry is coming to help with the all-important finishing touches – as well as their musical friends.

As usual expect a lively story, lots of silly songs to sing along with and a large helping of musical plum pudding!

The show is created by the A2: Arts Active Team, who drive education, community and audience engagement programmes at St David’s Hall and New Theatre to motivate people of all ages to engage in and enjoy arts activity.

There will be six one-hour performances at the city centre venue from Saturday, December 16, until Tuesday, December, 19, excluding Sunday, December 17. Christmas fans will be treated to two performances a day, at 10.30am and 12.30pm.
