Bruton Knowles expands team to meet rise in property activity
Bruton Knowles’ Welsh office has expanded its operation further with the appointment of four new members of staff.
First to join is Colin Caunter, who has been brought in to handle a growing tide of utility company instructions.
Mr Caunter is a land agent and returns to the south Wales property market after several years working in the south-west of England. He will focus on landowner liaison, compensation work, negotiating access, land referencing and planning.
Mr Caunter has been tasked with managing a steep increase in land acquisition and valuation work.
Chartered surveyor and residential specialist Stuart Randall joins the team to focus on a number of key public and private sector commissions and valuations for loan security.
Chartered surveyor Mark Cunningham joins as senior surveyor to handle a steep rise in compensation as well as valuation work, particularly across south and west Wales.
The final new member of the team is Daniel Gadd, who joins as graduate building surveyor. Originally from Ynysybwl, Mr Gadd joins the fast-growing firm after completing his surveying degree at the University of the West of England.
Mr Gadd will assist the development of Bruton Knowles Building Consultancy in Cardiff, including the design and monitoring of commercial and residential developments, support of bank-led development and also project monitoring work.
Mr Gadd, a former part-time jockey, said: “I am delighted to be joining Bruton Knowles at such an exciting point in my career as I move towards chartered surveyor status.”
Nick Worman, from Bruton Knowles, said: “We are delighted with the latest additions to the Bruton Knowles team in Cardiff. The office is currently going from strength to strength and Colin, Stuart, Mark and Dan have already made a very positive impression with clients and colleagues alike.
“There has been a definite increase in property and land activity across Wales. While there was a clear need to expand the office to cope with the increased activity, these additions have also allowed us to widen the range of expertise and services that we offer.”
