Triumphant return for Miss Saigon

Miss Saigon, Wales Millennium Centre

MISS Saigon makes a triumphant return to the Wales Millennium Centre, more than a decade after it broke ticket sales as the venue’s first big production.

Based on the opera Madam Butterfly, the famous Boublil and Schönberg (also the brains behind Les Mis) musical moves the action to 1970s Saigon during the Vietnam War.

Madam Butterfly’s story of an American Lieutenant’s Japanese marriageof-convenience to Cio-Cio San becomes a romance between Chris, an American GI and a Vietnamese bargirl named Kim.
