Ludlow stays at Gloucester
RUMOURED Wales target Lewis Ludlow is one of four Gloucester players to have signed new deals to stay at Kingsholm.
The Cherry and Whites announced on their official website that all four players had put pen to paper on new contracts, but did not disclose further details.
Back-row forward Ludlow came through Gloucester’s Academy and has established his place in the back row with some standout performances this season, topping the tackle charts with 172.
The 23-year-old has a Welsh grandfather and his form has caught the attention of the Welsh Rugby Union, who have been keeping a close eye on him, but the ‘long-term’ deal looks to have put an end to any Wales interest in him.
As well as Ludlow, Billy Twelvetrees, Henry Trinder and Tom Marshall have also signed new deals with the Aviva Premiership club.
