Thanks to all our incredible supporters

THE Stroke Association would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our incredible supporters and volunteers for the amazing dedication and commitment shown throughout 2017 to help us support stroke survivors and their families here in Wales.

It has been a record-breaking year for some of our fundraising events, such as our Resolution Runs, our Step Out for Stroke series and the Cardiff Half Marathon. So thank you for helping to make these events such a fantastic success for everyone involved.

Many of our supporters also helped us to ‘Make May Purple’, while others found their way into the kitchen to ‘Give a Hand and Bake’ during October.

More than 7,000 people have a stroke in Wales each year and 65,000 survivors are living with the effects of stroke. Your generosity has helped us offer much-valued support to these survivors and their families.

We would also like to extend our sincerest thanks to the local businesses, organisations and sporting clubs who adopted us as their nominated ‘charity partner’ for 2017, as they have been instrumental in helping us raise awareness of stroke and stroke prevention and helping to fund vital research projects.
