Bad Wolf’s Natasha Hale joins board of directors at RWCMD

THE Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama has announced the appointmen­t of Natasha Hale to its board of directors.

Ms Hale, the chief operating officer at the TV production company Bad Wolf, will join the board with immediate effect.

Ms Hale will bring to the position “a passion for making the creative industries accessible, and a widerangin­g experience in both the music and drama industries within Wales and on an internatio­nal scale”.

Announcing the appointmen­t, John Derrick, chair of the board of directors at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, said: “We are delighted that Natasha has agreed to join the board of the college. The depth and range of her experience in the creative industries in Wales and the US will reinforce our focus on developing world-class talent as one of the leading music and drama conservato­ires in Europe.

“She will contribute to the board’s focus on nurturing the next generation of students, maximising the diversity of our recruitmen­t pool and ensuring that they are well-prepared to join the creative industries through strong links with industry.”

Speaking of her appointmen­t, Ms Hale said: “I’m excited and honoured to join the board of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. The college plays a crucial role in developing the skills and talent that the creative industries require, both in Wales and internatio­nally. In my new role, I hope to help forge new links between creative businesses, the college and its students.”
