LO­CAL auc­tion com­pany pre­pares for its up­com­ing auc­tions of cars and lux­ury seized items.

Wil­sons Auc­tions New­port will be mark­ing Amer­i­can In­de­pen­dence Day with buyer in­cen­tives for those at­tend­ing dur­ing its car auc­tion on Wed­nes­day, July 4.

Get­ting into the spirit of the fes­tiv­i­ties the branch will host another huge car auc­tion, com­pli­mented by Ron Skin­ner and Pine­tree Cars as well as ex­ist­ing ven­dors and will con­tinue with World Cup-re­lated spot prizes.

Rus­sell Lewis, for­mally a se­nior man­ager at British Car Auc­tions, Bridge­wa­ter and New­port, has joined the team as busi­ness de­vel­op­ment man­ager and auc­tion­eer.

Com­ment­ing on his ap­point­ment he said: “I am thrilled to join the team at Wil­sons Auc­tions New­port. We kicked off the World Cup cel­e­bra­tions with spot prizes and buyer in­cen­tives which we will be con­tin­u­ing through the du­ra­tion of the World Cup se­ries over the next cou­ple weeks.”

“To add to the ex­cite­ment, we have a huge range of ven­dors with cars on of­fer through­out our auc­tions, so we would en­cour­age our cus­tomers not to miss out on the ex­cite­ment and come down to our auc­tions through­out the week,” he added.

Along­side Rus­sell, the New­port branch has also in­tro­duced Jim Daniels as a busi­ness de­vel­op­ment man­ager to fur­ther strengthen the com­pany’s of­fer­ing in the south Wales area.

In the theme of In­de­pen­dence Day and through­out the du­ra­tion of the World Cup, Wil­sons Auc­tions New­port will be giv­ing away spot prizes dur­ing its weekly car auc­tions, which take place ev­ery Mon­day and Wed­nes­day at 6pm and Fri­day’s at 11.30am.

The weekly car auc­tions at the New­port branch in­volve a num­ber of ex­ist­ing ven­dors as well as new ven­dors in­clud­ing East­ern Western Mo­tor Group, New­town Vaux­hall, PW Mil­lar Ford, as well as David Tay­lor Garages, Go Car Credit, Se­cure Trust Bank, South­ern Merthyr Vaux­hall and Cardiff, Bris­tol and Bath Honda in­clud­ing a whole other host of main deal­ers.
