ACOLLEGE worker shared naked pictures and clips of her “readying herself for sex” on Twitter, a professional conduct hearing was told.

Dr Robyn Williams, 60, was also alleged to have appeared in some images intended for publication in an adult magazine.

Colleagues saw a “pretty grim” video of Dr Williams – who is also known as Jane – lying on a bed preparing for sex, an Education Workforce Council hearing in Ewloe was told yesterday.

The Daily Post reported Dr Williams, who worked at the Grwp Llandrillo Rhos-on-Sea campus from 2006, was accused of posing for and posting indecent and/or pornographic images on Twitter and appearing in – and posting – a link to a pornographic video.

The fitness to practise committee also heard some of the images were intended for publication in an adult magazine and that her conduct displayed a “lack of integrity”.

Dr Williams did not attend the hearing, but said via email the images were not uploaded by her or displayed on her personal Twitter account, which could be readily viewed.

The panel assumed Dr Williams denied all the allegations in her absence and said she had not given them a current postal address where she could be contacted.

In April 2016 two members of staff approached the Grwp’s health and safety boss, David Phillips, with a Twitter link purporting to show Dr Williams pictured in a series of sexual poses and also featuring video footage.

They had apparently been made aware of the images after rumours had circulated within the college, and told Mr Phillips “it’s disgusting” and “it makes my stomach turn”.

Giving evidence, Mr Phillips explained how he had to stop looking at the content as it became more graphic.

He told the hearing: “I thought it was pretty grim. I recall viewing images of Robyn Williams, who was naked, and there was graphic text.”

He went on to say she was lying on a bed in a video and readying herself for sex with lubricant while talking to the camera.

He added: “I recognised Robyn Williams’ face and I have no doubt it was her.”

Mr Phillips said he reported the images and links to the Grwp’s human resources bosses.

Quizzed by panel member Peter Owen, Mr Phillips said he knew she was preparing for sex on the video because she explained what she was doing to camera.

He admitted he did not know on what account the images had been posted as they were shown to him and he gave the phone back to the staff after seeing part of the video.

In an email response sent to the panel Dr Williams said she “did not post or upload any of the images shown on Twitter” and her personal account could be readily viewed.

The hearing continues.
