Millionaire search on as Lottery prize unclaimed

-

THE search is on for a secret millionaire after a lottery ticket worth a fortune has been left unredeemed after being purchased in Wales.

The National Lottery is hunting for the winner of EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker, who has won a cool £1m.

Every draw has two winners, but the lucky owner of a ticket purchased in Ceredigion on Friday, June 22, has yet to check their ticket and claim their prize.

For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Maker code printed on the their ticket.

The code for the winning ticket is MDLG 86259.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticketholder and unite them with their winnings.

“We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding, so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.

“Try checking pockets, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa.”

The winning ticket-holder has until December 19 to claim their prize.

Anyone not in possession of their ticket but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing to Camelot, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.

Contact 0333 2345050 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk if you believe you have the winning ticket.
