SWANSEA City go in search of their third Championsh­ip win on the bounce when they face Garry Monk’s Birmingham City at St Andrew’s tonight.

The game at St Andrew’s gets underway at 7.45pm on Friday, August 17.

Craig Gardner is suspended for the home side due after picking up a red card in his side’s 1-0 defeat to Middlesbro­ugh at the Riverside Stadium last weekend.

But other than that, the Blues are at full strength and have no new injury concerns.

As for Swansea, they will be without goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt who was forced off the pitch with a groin injury in the first half of the 1-0 win against Preston.

It means Erwin Mulder will start in his place while Wales internatio­nal Declan John - who joined the Swans on deadline day - is in line to make his first appearance for the Swans.
