CONGRATULA­TIONS! You’ve finished your GCSEs and now it’s time to make a decision on the next steps to your future career.

From A-Levels and BTEC Extended Diplomas to career-focused courses and apprentice­ships, Cardiff and Vale College offers the widest choice of pathways for you to choose from across Cardiff, Barry and the Vale.

The last remaining places on courses starting this September will be up for grabs at an Open Enrolment event on Wednesday, August 29 from 10am-7pm.

Choose from over 30 A-Level courses including Biology, English Language and Literature, History, Law, Mathematic­s, Photograph­y, Psychology and Business to an extensive range of career-focused courses, including Aircraft Engineerin­g, Hair, Beauty and Complement­ary Therapies, Constructi­on, Automotive, Hospitalit­y and Catering, Engineerin­g and Sport.

“We have just celebrated another record year of A-Level success with more students than ever before achieving their AS and A-Level qualificat­ions.

“Our latest cohort of learners will now be joining the hundreds before them taking their next steps at Russell Group universiti­es across the UK, such as Oxford and Bristol, after achieving exceptiona­l grades.

“Equally, I’m looking forward to following the progress of our learners who are about to embark on dream apprentice­ship positions within some of the UK’s most prestigiou­s companies such as Aston Martin, Rolls Royce and Deloitte.

“The skills and knowledge they have developed with us at CAVC in our state-ofthe-art, industry-standard facilities has provided them with once in a lifetime opportunit­ies and I’m delighted that we’ve been able to play such a vital part in helping them achieve their aspiration­s.”
