Grow in moist, well–drained fertile soil in sun or partial shade. Don’t overfeed as this can cause lax growth which flops over. Prune lightly in spring to remove dead flower heads. Never let a hydrangea dry out – the clue is in its name, “hydros” is the Greek word for water.
