It’s Russia that is being warlike

ACCORDING to Mr Putin, the government of the Ukraine is a war government and does not seek a peaceful solution.

May I have the temerity to point out that it was Russian ships that rammed, fired on and arrested three Ukranian ships and took their crews prisoner in the Kerch Strait. These are acts of war.

I am at a loss to understand why our media are so reticent about pointing this out. Why do we let off a man who appears convinced that he can, literally, get away with murder?

It certainly looks as though, by soft pedaling, we are allowing him to convince others that they can do the same.
