THE time to think about organising a wedding is here and Wales’ top venues have a number of wedding fayres and exhibitions in the diary to help you plan your big day just right.
Whether you need help picking a venue, booking a band or makeup artist or even choosing that perfect dress, these are the places to be every weekend until you’ve firmed up the big day.
Castle or mansion, five-star resort or country manor get along to one of these and have your wedding day in the bag before winter is out.
1. DE COURCEY’S MANOR, CARDIFF
Hosted by the manor and Events in Love, visitors will get a drink on arrival and the first 100 registrations will get a luxury gift. The event starts at 11am and ends at 3pm. When: Sunday, January 13 Where: De Courceys Manor, Tyla Morris Avenue, Cardiff CF15 9QN
2. LLECHWEN HALL, NELSON
The venue’s wedding showcase will see the hall fully set up ready for a wedding day as well as having more than 30 quality exhibitors.
There’s free admission, hair and make up trials by Minxie’s beauty – only for brides who have a wedding date booked – and free canapes and drinks. Visit the stunning hilltop location surrounded by magnificent views of the Welsh countryside and you might end up booking your wedding there.

3. CANADA LODGE, CARDIFF
An evening event which takes place from 5pm. Canada Lodge is a wedding venue itself and the evening will showcase the location at its finest.

4. LIBERTY STADIUM, SWANSEA
Organised by Wonderland Wed-
ding Fayre, there will be a wide variety of exhibitors – bridal shops, wedding gowns, formal hire, musicians, string quartets, florists, wedding cars, wedding cakes, chocolate fountains, hair and make-up, catering services and invitation designers. Also on offer are free make overs and hair demos.
There’s live music, catwalk shows and all brides will receive a free goodie bag with the latest Your Wed- ding Day Magazine, Yankee Candle and chocolates.
The Wonderland Wedding Fayres also take place in Cardiff (City Hall) and Carmarthen (Halliwell at Venue Wales).

5. THE TOWERS HOTEL & SPA, SWANSEA
Dresses, cakes, magicians, florists and cars, CJ Wedding Fayres & Events events around south and west Wales almost every weekend this year.
