How do you think Daniel James coped with the game?

IT was a tough evening but he gave his best.

It wasn’t an easy night for anybody. He had some dangerous moments, you could see what he’s about. He’ll get better and he’ll learn from the experience.

Leeds United’s chief executive said they’re keen to come back in for him in the summer, that’s probably something you don’t want to hear?

I’M not going to comment on what people say in the media, he’s our player and until the clubs agree terms then he’ll continue to be our player.

Are the play-offs too far away now?

I THINK anybody that’s around where we are, the challenge is to get a run of results.

You look at Bristol City, in this league, with the amount of games there are in April, you can get a little bit carried away or despondent.

For us we just focus on the next match and try to win that.

If we can carry on the momentum then who knows, but we’ve not spoken about it until now.

Can the FA Cup lift Swansea’s season?

WE’LL try but we know we’ll be playing against as good a team as anybody in the Championship in terms of form.

Brentford had a tricky period where they had a few bad results but I think they’ve come through that.

I think if you look at the form guide recently, they’re as good as anybody so it’ll be a tough match.

Are Leeds going up?

THEY’VE got as good a chance as anybody from what I’ve seen.

Was that the toughest test you’ve had this season?

YES, away from home, it’s very hostile and Leeds are a good team. They played well so I’d say it’s as tough as it’s been.

You’ve made plenty of progress with the club, but did this result show there’s still a lot of work to be done?

Of course. You look at the age of the squad and where they are in their careers.

It’s a big challenge to come somewhere like here and try to be yourself. We had a really good opportunity when it was 1-0. You need that if you’re going to get anything and we didn’t.
