Welsh League Cambrian are the lowest ranked side remaining in the competitio­n and eliminated Barry on their run to the Nathaniel MG Cup final earlier this season.

“It’s an opportunit­y to get to a semi-final – Cambrian will be looking at it the same, so it’s makes for a mouth-watering cup-tie,” said Barry boss Gavin Chesterfie­ld. “People are expecting an upset, our job is to make sure it doesn’t happen”.

The New Saints visit WPL strugglers Llandudno tomorrow afternoon (2.30pm) with manager Scott Ruscoe making his expectatio­ns clear, after getting eliminated at this stage last year.

“Hopefully we can one better than last season where we fell short, we’ve already talked about priorities and this is one of our priorities now – there are two competitio­ns that we’re left in, and we’d like to win both of them,” he said.

Bala Town, winners in 2017, host top-six rivals Cardiff Met tomorrow (2.30pm), who have already tasted cup success once this season, in the remaining tie.
