Lack of Bluebirds manager Warnock

-

I’m looking to. All the derbies are important. The atmosphere. We want the bragging rights. The lads have been really up for the match this week.

I’ve been used to it (Bristol fans) for many years. The atmosphere at the stadium is excellent. They are flying high and we are on TV as well.

You have to close your eyes and think where we have been in those three years, it’s quite remarkable.

There are some big clubs who would have swapped us for what we’ve done. 2019 has been the hardest for us, mentally and physically with the stuff we have had to cope with.

ON INJURIES

SEAN Morrison has seen the surgeon this morning regarding his fracture. I’ll know about that later.

He’d already done something with the other hand. It’s a complicated one, but they’ve spotted something else, I’m not sure the terminology. The international break, but I won’t know yet until I get back in. I thought Curtis Nelson played ever so well last week but you want your captain involved.

Other than that, little niggles, Gavin Whyte struggled last week, but he’s going to do a little bit. He’s going to want to go away with the internationals. There’s nobody coming back that’s been out and will hopefully be ready after the break.

Joe Ralls has struggled this week, so we’re not sure about him. I won’t risk him if there’s any doubt. He’s been carrying this for six weeks now. It gives others an opportunities.

Isaac Vassell, I think he is seeing somebody again on Monday. Robert Glatzel, hopefully, will just be straight forward after the international break. His was just a small hamstring problem.

ON GARY MADINE, CALLUM PATERSON AND OMAR BOGLE

THEY are all in the squad. Omar (Bogle) has really done well in training.

I’m not too down at things (suspensions and injuries), between them all the strikers have got an opportunity in a great game, on TV it’ll be super, a great atmosphere. I’m looking forward to it.

LEE TOMLIN INJURY UPDATE

HE has trained. I’ve not heard anything this morning untoward, he’s trained, the last couple of days. He looked OK yesterday in training, we will just have to see.

ON RE-SIGNING ARMAND TRAORE

HE’S only just to cover. He’s been with us six weeks and he’s just about got up to fitness.

IT’S only up until Christmas, it’s a short contract in case anything happens.

Fans know him, he’s got a very good left foot and loads of ability. His mind is not always in the best place but he has trained really hard in the time he has been with us.

It’s an appearance-based contract as well, so it’s up to him.
