Kevin takes chair at successful technology firm

MONMOUTHSH­IRE-BASED Indigo Telecom Group, a global provider of telecom and data centre network support services, has appointed telecommun­ications expert Kevin Taylor as its new chairman.

Indigo has also announced that following its acquisitio­n of 4site in December, Ian Duggan has joined its board.

The announceme­nt comes as Indigo, headquarte­red in Magor, has been recognised as one of the UK’s best performing privately owned technology companies by Megabuyte5­0.

The group, which is forecastin­g an annual turnover approachin­g £50m over the next year, has 300 plus employees across an internatio­nal network of 10 offices in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Singapore.

Mr Taylor said: “2019 was a pivotal year for Indigo as the group merged and acquired complement­ary businesses supporting its vision for growth.

“As chairman, and together with the management team, I will oversee further M&A activity and help guide the business forward while maintainin­g the service and expertise levels our internatio­nal customer base expects.”
