Barratt Homes’ largest design to be unveiled

BARRATT Homes is set to unveil its largest home design.

Chapel Fields, located in Loughor on the outskirts of Swansea, will be unveiling the Radleigh design on Saturday, after listening to demand for spacious family properties in the area.

“We have heard from a number of buyers looking to move to the area regarding the lack of affordable fourbedroom homes on offer,” said sales director Richard Lawson.

“This is why we are excited to showcase our Radleigh design – a beautiful home with four doublebedrooms and plenty of space for a growing family.”

The detached Radleigh property has a large kitchen, dining and family area with French doors leading to the garden.

There is also a separate utility room, a spacious lounge, separate study and a WC, while outside boasts a single attached garage and two parking spaces. Upstairs the home has four double bedrooms including a master with en suite shower room, and a family bathroom.

“Families will love the layout of the Radleigh because it offers luxury and – very importantly – plenty of space to grow into,” added Mr Lawson.

“Our buyers have sent us a very clear message that this is the design they are looking for.

“And with Help to Buy Wales, purchasing a property like this may be easier than you think,” he said.

Help to Buy Wales allows any home buyer to secure a brand new home under the value of £300,000 with just a 5% deposit.

The Welsh Government lends the buyer 20% of the value of the property in the form of an interest-free equity loan for five years, meaning that buyers can then gain access to some of the mortgage rates which are currently available with just a 75% mortgage.
