Attack victim left with facial injuries

SOUTH Wales Police are investigating a serious assault that took place in Cardiff in the early hours of Saturday morning in which someone was left with “substantial facial injuries”.

The incident is believed to have occurred in the Dumballs Road area. The man, in his 20s, was taken to the University Hospital of Wales to be treated for his wounds.
